🌳⭐️ A sympathetic Oak reduction we carried out today in Wigan. A Large amount of deadwood was removed from the crown and some old pruning cuts tidied up. The main reason to carry out the pruning was to relieve some stress from the branch unions to reduce the risk of limbs failing. The tree will be monitered throughout the year as it has some significant decay present which may lead to complete removal. #treesurgeon #arborist #cjmtreecare

The roots had completely severed and due to the tree being on a steep banking we opted for a crane to make sure no material would land in the stream below.
